Beadfall

Privacy Policy

For Beadfall, the Apple Watch app. Last updated 9 August 2026.

Beadfall collects no data about you. Nothing is gathered, nothing is stored about you, and nothing is transmitted anywhere. This is not a setting that has been switched off by default; there is no mechanism in the app capable of doing it.

Why that claim can be checked

The app contains no networking code of any kind. It has no ability to make a network request, so there is no destination any information about you could be sent to, and no server operated by us that could receive it. It has no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising, no third-party software development kits, and no accounts or sign-in.

Motion

The app reads the direction of gravity from your watch’s motion sensor. That is what makes the beads respond to your wrist rather than follow a script. Each reading is used to advance the simulation by one frame and is then discarded. Nothing is written to storage and nothing leaves the watch. The app does not use, and has no access to, motion activity, step counts, heart rate, workouts or any other health data.

What is stored on your watch

One value: the volume level you have chosen. It is kept in the app’s own local settings on the device so it survives a restart. It says nothing about you, it is never transmitted, and it is deleted along with the app if you remove it.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages. Since it collects nothing from anyone, it collects nothing from children either, and it contains no purchases, no advertising and no links out to other content.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of the app ever collects anything, this page will be updated before that version is released, and the change will be described plainly here rather than absorbed into a longer document.
